Book Cover Redesign

This is a redesign of the book cover for What Makes Sammy Run?, a novel written by Budd Schulberg. The cover is inspired by the London Underground design style incorporated with the design of signage for the New York Subway system.

The book What Makes Sammy Run? is partially based in New York, and I wanted to reflect that in the book cover. My main goal for this cover design was to create a simple, minimalistic cover that can look nice on a bookshelf, but also creating one that stands out from other books of this genre.
